Northern Virginia interior designer Katie Argueta is passionate about creating bold, beautiful spaces that are packed with timeless inspiration, warm comfort, intentional functionality, and a touch of whimsy. She uses design as a way to shape meaningful experiences within her clients’ homes.
"I’ve loved interior design since I was a kid with sketch pads full of drawings of home layouts and pretty rooms. With a realtor/handyman/woodworker dad and later a contractor husband, I’ve been around home improvement forever. I spent years blogging and sharing my many home projects as I worked to design and update our past and current homes. Building my own interior design business now has been a true dream."
In 2025, Katie and her husband Gary expanded their work through a new venture - home flipping. Katie not only pours her design talents into her client work, but into the homes she helps to restore as well. Two phrases you won't find in an Argueta Abode flip? "Builder grade" and "cookie cutter."
